This site is run by Rough Cut Studio (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2026/672247/07), a company registered in South Africa. Email contact@roughcut-studio.com.

What this site is

This site shows who we are and the kind of work we make. Nothing on it is an offer to sell, and sending us a brief through the contact form doesn't create a contract or commit either of us to anything. Any project we take on is agreed separately, in writing, with its own scope, fees and terms.

We work to keep the site accurate and up to date, but it's general information about the studio, not professional advice, and it may change without notice.

Our work and content

Unless stated otherwise, everything on this site, including its text, imagery, film, design, logos and the Rough Cut Studio name, belongs to Rough Cut Studio or is used with permission. You're welcome to view it, link to it and share links to it. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, sell or otherwise use it, in whole or in part, without our written permission. That includes using it to train or prompt AI models.

Using the site

Please don't:

• use the site for anything unlawful,
• try to gain unauthorised access to it, disrupt it or damage it,
• send us spam, malicious code or someone else's personal information without their permission.

Links to other sites

The site links to our pages on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook. Those platforms are run by other companies, under their own terms, and we're not responsible for their content.

Liability

We provide the site as it is and can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, Rough Cut Studio isn't liable for any loss that comes from using the site or relying on its content. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008, or any liability that can't lawfully be limited.

Privacy

How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy, and our use of cookies (we use none) in our Cookie Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and the version on this page is the one that applies.
